KINETIC MOTORSPORTS PREPARES FOR SEASON OPENER AT DAYTONA

January 25, 2010 - BMW M3 GS-Class driver line-up includes Doctors from Florida and Massachusetts

Buford, GA.  25 January 2010- Kinetic Motorsports will begin the 2010 GRAND-AM season with an exciting line up of cars, drivers and new changes as the team continues to grow. Kinetic will be entering two cars in both the Grand Sport and Street Tuning classes of the GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Series, starting with the Fresh From Florida 200 at Daytona International Speedway.

In the Grand Sport class, Kinetic will enter a pair of BMW M3 V8s – the familiar livery of their No. 79 car will be driven by a pair of Florida residents, Dr. Chris Prusinski and sports car professional Chris Hall.  The second GS entry will be driven by another Doctor – Lance Willsey who participated in the 2009 Koni Series with Kinetic and has signed up for a limited race season in 2010.

The No. 79 Coastline Imaging sponsored Kinetic BMW will introduce experienced club racer Dr. Chris Prusinski, a Florida Neurologist, to professional sports car racing. Dr. Prusinski will share driving duties throughout the season with long time driving coach and friend, Chris Hall. Over the last 19 years Prusinski has been an avid sports car and formula car driver and instructor at tracks throughout North America. Coastline Imaging is the leading Diagnostic Center in Brevard County, Florida and will be the primary sponsor of the No. 79 BMW. Established in 1997, Coastline Imaging and Dr. Prusinski's own practice have built a tremendous professional and patient care reputation for the study and treatment of neurological disease and neurodiagnostic testing.

The second GS entry is also driven by another Doctor – Lance Willsey of Cambridge Hill, Massachusetts. Dr. Willsey is a Harvard educated and trained surgeon with previous clinical appointments at the MA General Hospital and the Dana Faber Cancer Institute. Willsey participated in the 2009 Koni Series with Kinetic and has signed up for a limited race season in 2010. Lance will also be participating in the Rolex 24 hr race for the fourth consecutive year driving a Porsche 997. Lance will share driving duties in the Fresh From Florida 200 with Continental Sports Car and Rolex series professional driver Bryan Sellers (who isn't a Doctor but is a really small racing driver). Bryan commented that despite his lack of medical degree and muscle-mass, he is looking forward to driving with Lance, and getting behind the wheel of the Exelixis Pharmaceuticals Inc. BMW M3 at Daytona.

Kinetic owner Russell Smith commenting on the team said, "We are looking to build upon the advances that we have made with our new BMW E92 M3 program from 2009. Adam Wareing and TJ Minarcine have built and prepared two excellent race cars, and together with our race engineer Mark Schoman, they bring together a lot of experience which enables our drivers to showcase their skills to the max."

He added that when looking at the roster of drivers that will race with Kinetic at Daytona, he was delighted at the level of amassed skills that the drivers have, but also wanted to send a message to any other potential drivers in the paddock - "If only we can find ourselves a couple more racing Doctors and nurses in the paddock, we could open up our own medical facility from the back of our truck – as we all know, there are a lot of folks in the paddock who could take advantage of some much needed help with their brain and nerve disorders !!"
