KINETIC MOTORSPORTS HAS STRONG QUALIFYING AT MID-OHIO

Buford, GA – June 20, 2009 –Kinetic Motorsports has strong qualifying at round 7 of Grand-Am's KONI Challenge race in Mid-Ohio. The EMCO Gears Classic begins June 20th at 1:45pm ET on the 2.258-mile, 13-turn road course in Lexington, Ohio.
Kinetic Motorsports three car entry are competing against 17 other racers in the Grand Sport (GS) class. The team of Glenn Bocchino and Todd Lamb, who finished 4th in round 6th at the Glen, qualified 5th today with a time of 1:34.881 in their #32 Cybernation, Cobalt Friction, Traqmate sponsored BMW M3.
"We're recovering nicely in the points; moving up steadily since our DNF at Daytona.", stated Lamb. "We plan to keep putting in good results and we'll see where we end up. I've won two National Championships the past two years at Mid Ohio, and I'm coming off 3 wins in a row in MX-5 Cup, so I expect we'll have a strong run this weekend."
Qualifying 7th are the team of Lee Davis and Kinetic co-owner/driver, Russell Smith in their #33 Luna-C Clothing sponsored BMW M3 posting a time of 1:34.993.
"We are very excited about our 7th place qualifier and hope to have a great result passing the checkered flag.", stated Smith. "All Kinetic drivers and cars are performing well. Barring no major incidences, we are hopeful for top results from all three teams."
The Kinetic duo of pro-driver Gunnar Jeannette and young talent, Frankie Montecalvo are teamed up again for their third race together. The two will be piloting the #87Bayshore Recycling Corp./Montecalvo Construction sponsored BMW and qualified 11th posting a time of 1:36.652.
"We are excited to be back at the track where we had our first top five run with the Kinetic Motorsports team.", stated Kinetic Team Manager, Ed Hall. "We've had great runs at Mid-Ohio throughout the years with our Porsche Cup and BMW professional programs as well as multiple wins at SCCA and PCA events."
