Biography
Betances is in his inaugural season of KONI Challenge Series Grand Sport competition. He will drive a Kinetic Motorsports BMW M3 Coupe with co-driver Manuel Soltero. Betances have participated in road racing events since 1977 as a FIA Member of the “Club Corredores de Circuito” in Puerto Rico. He expanded his driving skills to several events in the United States from race schools to BMW CCA Club Racing, PBOC Florida and in the last two years with Ferrari Driving School.

Personal
Betances’s is President and owner of RBR Construction in Puerto Rico for more than 20 years, doing work for different agencies like PR Highway Authority, PR Port Authority and privates projects as a Utility Contractor.  He is a Professional License Civil Engineer by profession and likes deep sea fishing, golf and racing.

Champion in Gt-2 Class in a BMW M-3 in Puerto Rico.

Moroso Speedway, Sebring International Speedway, Homestead, and Road Atlanta Speedway with the BMW CCA Club Racing and BMW Porsche Owners Club (BPOC) of Florida in a diversity of events, among them Club Racing and Driving School events .

Sub-Champion in GT-2 Class in a BMW M-3 in Puerto Rico.
